Touring

  • I was off for my annual cycling holiday in Scotland recently. Although we were touring at the end of May, temperatures rarely got above 10oC, and were consistently well below seasonal norms. Despite this, the cycling was pretty good and the rain mostly came in showers rather than the depressing day-long rain one can get.

We started in Oban, having driven up with the tandem disassembled in the  back of the car. We visited Barra, South Uist, Benbecula, North Uist, Skye, Ardnamurchan and Mull over ten days and six ferry crossings. We ate loads of good food! Read all about it at my blog.
