We have two regular club runs each Sunday morning, usually 50 miles with a cafe stop.

NBRC Coronavirus Update 8/5/20 (updated 6/8/20)

The NBRC Committee hopes that all members and their families are coping with the current pandemic situation, and have remained well.
The last communication we issued was an announcement on our Facebook group page that all our club events have been cancelled until further notice. This remains in force.
As a consequence of the UK lockdown, the club cannot hold group rides or club runs, nor can it organise sporting events until further notice.
British Cycling and Cycling Time Trials have both suspended activity until June 30th, and this may be extended further as the pandemic runs its course. Our club time trial calendar for 2020 can be found on our website, and if possible we will start running these events once lockdown is over – though this would obviously depend on detailed guidance on how sporting events may take place.
We are also unable to hold club meetings or face to face committee meetings.

In light of this situation, we have decided that members who join or renew for (or during) 2020 will have their membership extended for 2021.

Update 6/8/20: Please note the report of the most recent committee meetings here. The committee have decided that club events should not restart until January1st 2021; we propose holding club meetings online; Sunday club rides are restarting. Full details at the link.

NBRC on Social Media

The North Bucks Road Club has a Facebook page. This is a good place to look for last minute notes about events, details of extra club rides etc. It's managed separately from this website, but material is copied between the two sites. You can always access the Facebook page via the menu item above.

We also now have a Twitter account - @NorthBucksRC.

If you're keen on using newsfeeds, there is an RSS feed of Latest News.

The NBRC Hill Climb is on Sunday 7th October. The course is, as usual, the Bow Brickhill hill climb course (F5z/H B.Brickhill), and the event starts at 0900. We generally meet at the bottom of the climb - remember this is a Sunday morning, so try not to disturb the inhabitants with too much hallooing!

Entry is £2.50 (members) £3.00 (non-members - though this is the NBRC championship hill climb, non-members are welcome).

Congratulations to Anthony for nipping up the hill quickest of the five! Tony says that someone's left a pair of gloves in his car: contact him if the owner wants them back!
