This event, originally scheduled for the Brogborough course, will now be held on the Astwood circuit, starting at 6.45pm. This event will start in Astwood, not the BikeBus. Entry is £3.00 (members) and £5.00 (non-members). The original Brogborough course has a road closure until 14th April.

All are welcome: make sure you turn up in time to sign on. You'll need a mechanically sound bike and a bike helmet. We recommend the use of a rear light. You need to be 12 or over to ride time trials; if you are over 12 but under 18 you will need permission from a parent or guardian to take part (download a permission form in pdf format and in Word format). The course has a route description and a risk assessment. Make sure you have familiarised yourself with the course, and remember that time trials are held on open roads - take care and be observant of other road users!

If you are riding out to the event, don't forget to bring lights for your return journey!

Results 

A foul evening of heavy showers didn't dissuade 12 riders from showing up! The win was taken by Jack Steel-Jessop with a fine 21:04 (made all the more impressive by the conditions).

Steve rolled up tp the start line with a rear wheel puncture, which he valiantly (but ultimately unsuccessfully) tried to repair in heavy rain, while Robert's front brake failed, also on the line.
