We're racing on the Astwood course using the version starting in Astwood, on Wednesday 20th April.

The event starts at 7pm, and entry is £5.50 (for members and non-members) online only. Maximum number of riders is 40. THERE WILL BE NO ENTRY ON THE LINE FOR THIS EVENT.

In the event of roadworks or other problems, we will use the Stony Stratford course (F5u/10).

All are welcome: make sure you turn up in time to collect your number. You'll need a mechanically sound bike and a bike helmet.

The course has aroute description and a risk assessment. Make sure you have familiarised yourself with the course, and remember that time trials are held on open roads - take care and be observant of other road users!

Start List

First rider starts at 7:01pm

Please note that there are reports of roadworks at the Chicheley turn. They should be complete by the time of our event, but if not, we plan to relocate the start and finish either side of that turn (I will ride to Astwood via Chicheley to check the situation out). We will meet at Astwood as usual, but please arrive in time to get to the new start point if we need to use it.

Results

In a bizarre repeat of last year's event, we had a false alarm of roadworks in Chicheley. On the evening, there was no sign of any roadworks and the event  went off according to plan. Weather-wise, it was sunny but blustery and quite cool.

Congratulations to Daniel for the win. the top three places were all pretty close, so well done all. The two NBRC vets (Robert and Mark contrived to tie for 4th place!  And it was good to see Steph out on her TT rig for the first time in 2022.

Thanks to Chris for signs and number spotting; Katja for time-keeping; Gray for photos; Robert for all the web stuff and data processing.
