NBRC President, Dick Selley, has got together with colleagues from other clubs and MK Cycling Association to set up an invitation time trial at the MK Bowl on 22nd September. Invitations have gone out to winners of club TTs organised by the North Bucks Road Club and Team MK, along with winners of various events at the Bowl through the season. Others who have impressed the organisers by their "pluck and determination" have also been invited.

The event covers 20 laps of the inner Bowl (22km), and will be chip timed.

The event is to be run under British Cycling regulations - if riders don't have a BC racing licence, the organisers will sort out a day licence.

Milton Keynes Cycling Association are organising a “Course des Vainqueurs” (race of winners) on Sunday 22nd September 2024 at 10 am.

As a winner this season of one of the qualifying series races..........

- North Bucks Road Club Club Wednesday time trial series

- Ron Day Memorial Bowl Criterium Tuesday series

- Team Milton Keynes Club Monday time trial series

- King and Queen of the Bowl Thursday series

- plus a select few who have won our hearts by their plucky and determined riding.

We invite you to enter this race which will comprise a 20 lap time trial of the inner Bowl circuit. (chip timed).The event will be run under BC rules and 61 riders are being invited.If we get a good response we may run two heats with the first 3 in each heat then contesting a final of 10 laps.Prizes will be 1st £100......2nd £75.......3rd £50.....4th £40.......5th £30.....6th £25

If two heats are run then 4th and 5th in each heat will receive £25. 1st woman £40.If there is only one race, prizes will be awarded to the top 10 finishers.
