North Bucks Riders take part in open time trials - these are time trials which are organised by a club and are open to members of any CTT-affiliated cycling club. They are more formal in arrangement than a club time trial. Typically the organiser of an open time trial will have booked a venue with catering, toilet facilities and a place to change. These events will cost around £15 to enter and can have up to 150 riders competing. To enter an open event, set up an account at the CTT web page. Entry is online, and the closing date is usually about 10 days before the event.
