A club activity that was proposed earlier this year was the “Ride Out” evening social meeting, where we ride out (or drive out!) to an agreed destination (a pub, cafe or other venue) and have a social meeting.

Now that the better weather is here, I’d like to propose such a meeting for Monday 23rd June. Apologies for the short notice, but I don't want to miss the good weather. As regards the venue, the Old Swan in Astwood (https://theoldswan.uk/) has recently reopened. We’ve popped in for a quick drink after recent Astwood time trials, and they’ve contacted us via social media to see if the club would like to pay them a visit.

Timing would be flexible, perhaps 7.30pm onwards. If you’re interested in coming along please respond to say you'll attend, as I'll need to contact the pub to reserve a table/tables, maybe even outdoors. Their pizzas are reputed to be rather good!
