Notes: A fast course with several roundabouts. There are traffic lights on the course – if they are at red, you must stop. The start is at the top of Brogborough hill.

Entries online via ResultsBase - no entry on the line. Results will be posted on the NBRC and ResultsBase website shortly after the event is complete.

A protective helmet and front and rear lights are mandatory.

Results

This was a lovely warm spring day with sunny spells and only a light breeze. Until a couple of hours prior to the event when it suddenly rained. Fortunately it all brightened up, and by the time the riders met up for the event conditions seemed pretty favourable (to me at least, still sidelined from bike riding and helping with the time-keeping). We had a start list of 17 riders, with only one DNS. Many riders tonight were on road bikes.

In first place was Daniel Chambers with a fine 20:26 - with a tussle for second place nearly three minutes back. We had a number of relative newcomers this evening, so welcome to them - we hope to see you again at future events.

The results on veteran standard were quite tight, but the honours were taken by Lindz Barral, with Richard and Steph tied in second place.
