Notes: This is a classic sporting course. Note that we will use the start in Astwood rather than near the Bike Bus.

A protective helmet and front and rear lights are mandatory.

Results

9 riders signed on for this evening's event. Unfortunately Ian Markham had some tyre isses and could not start. There was some comments that he'd been keener on sending photos of the tyre instead of fixing it. Robert had his own ghost in the machine issues with his eTap gears, with random shifting - he decided discretion was the better part of valour.

For the remaining 7 riders, conditions improved quite a bit, with the rain stopping and temperatures remaining quite mild. On the down side, Chicheley Hall appears to be hosting a popular event, with motor traffic queuing down its driveway, out onto the road and tailing back to the main road. This affected riders differently depending on oncoming traffic and whether they could pass the line of cars safely. So take the times with a bit of caution!
