Time Keepers:- Mary Hartley & Tony Farmborough NBRC
Hello all, | ||||||||
Now that was an improvement on the poor weather that has disrupted our recent club time trials wasn't it.
Certainly the wind reminded us of it's presence but at least it was warm and the sun shone. That did manage
to put a smile on our faces and promote even more chatter and banter than usual in the car park before the start.
Cogratulations to Simon for holding off for so long the enevitable in the form of the chasing tandem pair of
Kevin & Ian who caught Simon almost within sight of the finish line. Simons reward was first place and an
improvement on his PB of 13 secs.
Kevin & Ians tandem time of 24.55 now stands as our club tandem record on this course.
Fastest vet and leading the home team in was Rob Saunders who must have worked hard to
take second spot. The two new tubs worked well.
Star riders of tonights event who managed to improve on their PB's are the following riders,
Alan Lawson, a staggering improvement of 1min 14sec. Well done mate!
John Buchanan, 58 sec. | ||||||||
Chris Parkes, 32 sec. | ||||||||
Brian Primett, 25sec. | ||||||||
Rob Chaundy, 9sec. | ||||||||
Tony Brunton, 9sec | ||||||||
No one equaled Robs celebratory roll and tuck down the slope and into the car park. Just amazing!
There's no telling what Rob will do to entertain us next. ( 9.2 for artistic content & 4.2 on the Richter scale ) Smile.
Loads of thanks to the crew on the line and marshals at the turn, Derek & Rina, Nell, Bryan, Pete & Gilbert
Next week it's back to the F5c/10 for league rd.# 5. First rider off at 19.30hrs. See you all there….Tony F. |
