A lovely summer evening brought out riders in hordes - the event limit of 30 riders was soon over-subscribed - to get a ride, Robert persuaded Lindz Barral to once again don the mantle of "Grumpy" Lindz and join Team Grumpy for this event (Lindz doesn't really need to work on his 2-up skills, but really needs to address his cheerful demeanor). Robert's very grateful for the opportunity to get a ride. Some good performances tonight, with Simon Cannings leading the field. Tony Parks, despite claiming before the event that he had no speed seemed to this observer to put in a good ride! Thanks also to the start-line crew (Mary, Steph and Bryan), who were completely unphased by a 2-up crew bearing numbers 25 and 35. Please feel free to annotate this report using the comment facility!
