The events on the Astwood course have been a bit blighted by meteorological issues of late, with one event abandoned through snow, and another due to heavy rain. Hopefully this event will be run OK. The event is on the Astwood 10 mile course (F5v/10 Astwood course description). This event has been denoted a 'Come and try it' event, and beginners to time trialling would be most welcome.

The governing body for British time trialling, Cycling Time Trials, has a useful beginners' introduction to time trialling here. If you're interested in giving time trialling a shot, feel free to turn up at this event. The course description lists the meeting point. Turn up in good time to have any questions answered and to sign on!

If you've not ridden the course before, please do review the course description and the risk assessment. The event starts at 7.15pm, and entry is £2.50 (members) and £3.00 (non-members).
