It's back to the Stony course for this club event, on what promises to be a continuation of the current heatwave. Bring enough to drink! Event starts at 7.15pm, and entries cost £2.50 (members) or £3.00 (non-members).  If you've not ridden the course before, a description and risk assessment can be found here.

After the previous week's strangely cold conditions, this event was run on a lovely sunny and warm evening. The winner was Tony Parks with a narrow margin over Anthony Batt (they seem to be posting similar times on a regular basis now). They were the only riders below 27 minutes, with Kevin Stokes following up in third place. Newcomer Katja Rietdorf, in only her second time trial (the first was on Monday), recorded 30:46 on a road bike set up. For my part, the run back from Beachampton seemed to go on for ever - perhaps that was a the rising head wind!
