This week's event will be on the Stoke Hammond course (that link has the course description and risk assessment as well as the meeting point). We kick off at 7.15pm, members £2.50, non-members £3.00.

Be aware that there have been major changes to the Kelley's Kitchen roundabout, which has several sets of traffic lights. This means that traffic flow in the vicinity of this course has been altered - please take care when negotiating all roundabouts on the course, and look out for queuing traffic near the finish. Apparently the course has been resurfaced with chippings. Hopefully, the worst of this will have dissipated, but please take care!

Results

A warm evening saw 10 riders turn out for this evening's event on the newly re-surfaced Stoke Hammond course. As it turned out, the new surface was quite smooth, and I didn't see too many loose chippings remaining. The conditions were quite windy, which made the ride quite twitchy at times for those of us riding deep section front wheels, and which didn't seem to make things easy other than the opening couple of miles (and the benefit there was pretty marginal). Most riders went back a bit in comparison to our last outing on the course.
