This event is an annual fixture in the calendar. Last year we had to use the new F5w/20 course due to the changes at the Kelly's Kitchen roundabout. This year, we are unable to use that course due to the extremely complicated roadworks at the top of Woburn Sands High Street. We will be holding this event on another course, to be decided. Watch this space (and keep an eye on the Facebook page for updates).

UPDATE: we will use two laps of the Astwood course with the same start and finish as the "Come and try it" time trial held on 21st March. The course starts as for the F5v/10 (revised) course (near the BikeBus cafe), and carrries on past the start for a second lap, finishing at the same finish point as used for the revised course. The risk assessment is essentially the same as for the 10 mile course. We hope the BikeBus cafe will be open for refreshments. 

Don't forget the clocks change to Summer Time.

This will be a counting event in the NBRC TT League. The event starts 9am on Sunday 29th March. Entry is £2.50 (members - both 1st and 2nd claim) or £3.00 (non-members). Upcoming time trials can be found in the Club TT Calendar: the next event is an evening event on 8th April on the new Stoke Hammond course.

Results

As reported above, this year’s hardriders event was moved to two laps of the Astwood circuit, due to roadworks in Woburn Sands. We stuck with the start point adjacent to the Bikebus cafe (as used in last week's "Come And Try It" event), which was much appreciated after the event. A start list of seven riders were willing to brave the elements on the very wet and blustery morning. This was more than enough to justify the title ‘hardriders’. So well done everyone who rode, and even more gratitude to Steph, Tony and Bryan, who once again came out in horrible conditions to ensure our time trial went smoothly.
