We return to the Astwood circuit, with its new start point near the BikeBus cafe (F5v/10 Revised). When getting ready to start, please try to avoid milling around adjacent to driveways. We'll meet for signing on at the BikeBus cafe.

The event starts at 7pm, and entry is on the line at £2.50 (NBRC members), £3.00 (non-members). Maximum number of riders 40.

UPDATE: We've reviewed the weather forecast and the event will go ahead - the strong winds during the day are forecast to lessen by the evening. It won't be float, that's for sure!

Despite the optimism of a surprising number of riders who turned out for the event, conditions really were pretty horrendous at 7pm, and the decision was taken to abandon the event. It was still pretty horrid when I rode home after a coffee and natter at the Bikebus.
