Back to the Stony 11.4 mile course for tonight's event. If you are new to the course, please review the course description and risk assessment.

The event starts at 7.15pm, and entry is on the line at £2.50 (NBRC members), £3.00 (non-members). Maximum number of riders 40.

Results

Despite a wet morning, the evening weather was warm, sunny and dry with only light winds. We had fifteen riders take part, including two first time time triallists, James Down and James Dwight - I hope they had a good time and will come back again! I chatted to them before the start but missed them afterwards.

I was a bit surprised to take the win - as usual I struggled on the climb to Nash. Andy Sutton did well, setting a PB on a borrowed front wheel after he split a sidewall warming up (about time for an open event?). In fact the top five riders were all within a minute of each other!
