Our Hill Climb Championship has been relocated in space and time. We've delayed the event by a week so that members on a trip to Spain can ride it, and we've moved the event from the usual Bow Brickhill course to the Three Locks Hill Climb course. 

All are welcome at our club time trials (including hill climbs): make sure you turn up in time to sign on. You'll need a mechanically sound bike and a bike helmet. We recommend the use of a rear light, especially in evening events. You need to be 12 or over to ride time trials. If you are under 18 you will need permission from a parent or guardian to take part (download a permission form in pdf format and in Word format). Each of our courses has a route description and a risk assessment. Make sure you have familiarised yourself with the course!

The event starts at 9.00am, and entry is on the line at £2.50 (NBRC members), £3.00 (non-members). Maximum number of riders 40.

Results

It was rather a nice morning and we had a good turnout of 15 riders. The event was won by James Fox (CC Luton) with a margin of almost 6 seconds over Bryan Moore. First NBRC rider was James Richardson - well done on taking the championship! 

This brings an end to this season's club events: our next event will be on January 1st, on the Stoke Hammond course. Many thanks to those who've helped in presenting our 2015 club events. Especial thanks to Tony Farmborough, Steph Cousins and Bryan Scarborough for turning up week after week, often in less than ideal conditions.
