We had a splendid evening for this evening's race. Despite the potential confusion over the late course change, we had an excellent turnout of 25 solo riders and one two-up team. There was a real buzz from having so many riders, and several new faces. James Richardson took the win with a narrow margin over Leigh Smith. The other highlight of the evening was our exposure to Matt's startlingly silver shoes that dazzled everyone with their magnificence! 

A special thanks to the young Club Corley and LBRCC riders who went up to the start crew afterwards to say how much they'd enjoyed the event. Hopefully, we'll see them again! Claire Stanton was taking photos again - here's the gallery.

Next week's event was scheduled for the Brogborough course, but this is still closed for roadworks. That event will now be held on the Stoke Hammond course (see separate posting, for next week's event).
