Originally scheduled for the Brogborough course, this week's club time trial is now held on the Stoke Hammond Course owing to continued road closure on the Brogborough course.

If you are new to the course, please review the course description and risk assessment. Hopefully the weather will have improved by this event! Course route - includes download links for many GPS enabled computers.

All are welcome at our club time trials: make sure you turn up in time to sign on. You'll need a mechanically sound bike and a bike helmet. We recommend the use of a rear light, especially in evening events. You need to be 12 or over to ride time trials. If you are under 18 you will need permission from a parent or guardian to take part (download a permission form in pdf format and in Word format). Each of our courses has a route description and a risk assessment. Make sure you have familiarised yourself with the course!

The event starts at 7.15pm, and entry is on the line at £3.00 (NBRC members), £5.00 (non-members).

Results

A smaller field of riders turned out on the Stoke Hammond course (9 riders), probably due to the weather forecast being for heavy rain showers. But despite the moody looking clouds that had been hanging around for a few hours, it stayed dry and conditions were good leading to PBs for a few riders. A great time by James Richardson 21.04 to take the win (possible NBRC Course record??).

A big thank you on behalf of all of the riders to Tony and Bryan for their usual fantastic support, which allows us to hold these events…Chapeau gents!!

Bryan's Handicap Results

Nine riders signed on for this event. I bet those who missed it will be envious, as we had 4 PBs, one of which equalled the course record. Congratulations  to James Richardson on his 21.04! We had 2 newcomers to the course, and it was good to see Aaron McCaffrey having his first TT outing of the year.
