A rather unpleasant morning with a stiff breeze and rain greeted four riders. Fortunately, the rain eased off a fair bit while the riders were out on the course. It was definitely easier on the outbound leg than the return. Nathan celebrated his recent dental work (occasioned by a club run crash earlier this year) by adding another incident to his bid for the 2016 Tarmac Trophy - he skidded at the first available opportunity, on the first roundabout. Fortunately no serious damage seems to have been done to rider or bike - apparently if one is going to slither off, the first RAB is the place to do it as the tarmac is nice and smooth.
One more event to go!

Bryan's Handicap results
Despite a night of rainfall, 4 brave souls ventured out to the event. Weather guru, Lindz, predicted it would stop raining at 08.55 and start again at 09.06. He was wrong! It stopped at 08.52 and stayed away until everyone had finished!
Nathan tried to ensure his claim on the Tarmac Trophy by crashing at the new roundabout, but he will have to wait on the result in due course.
