Brogborough 10 mile Time Trial 27th April 2022

This event is to be held on the Brogborough course (F15/10). This is the fastest of the courses we currently use for our TT league, and it's usually popular.

If you are new to the course, please review the course description and risk assessment. The map of the Course route includes download links for many GPS enabled computers (you need to select "EXPORT" near the right hand edge of the screen to access this).

The event starts at 7pm, and entry is online only at £5.50 (NBRC members and non-members), THERE WILL BE NO ENTRY ON THE LINE FOR THIS EVENT.

In the event of roadworks or other problems, we will use the Astwood course (F5v/10).

The meeting point is under the flyover midway between the start at the top of Brogborough Hill and the finish. We're limited to 40 riders for this event If you're riding out to the event, please take care to bring lights for your ride home.

The results of this time trial will be posted online shortly after the event has been completed. These data include riders’ Names, Club, Category and their Result.

Results

The riders this evening were treated to a very cool and very windy evening, and it got colder as it went on! The blustery wind made the start descent rather twitchy (at least for those with fancy TT wheels) and the outbound leg rather tough all in all. Everything considered, I am astonished by the time logged by the top placed riders. Congratulations to Gavin Howell for the win this evening, but he was closely followed by Adam Fisher.

Thanks to Katja and Steph for timekeeping; Steph for placing signs; Katja for collecting the signs (with a little help from Robert; and Robert for website and general IT stuff.
