Stony Stratford 11.4 mile Time Trial 18th May 2022
This event is to be held on the Stony 11.4 mile course. If you are new to the course, please review the course description and risk assessment.
The Stony course is an out and home course, turning at a roundabout. The course is nominally a 10 mile course, though in the form used by the North Bucks, it comes in at 11.4 miles. There's a fair bit of climbing in the outward leg, but that means it can be quite quick on the return leg!

No entry on the line – entries close 24h before the event.
The event starts at 7.00pm Wednesday 18th May, and entries will be made online at £5.50 for members and non-members alike. Maximum number of riders 40. THERE WILL BE NO ENTRY ON THE LINE FOR THIS EVENT.
The meeting point is in the car park by the river, on Calverton Road, near the start by Milford Avenue.
In the event of roadworks or other problems, we will use the Brogborough course (F15/10).
Remember to bring both front and rear lights if you plan to ride home after the event.
The results of this time trial will be posted online shortly after the event has been completed. These data include riders’ Names, Club, Category and their Result.

Results
An early light shower fortunately didn't persist, and we all had a rain-free event. No roadworks either, so that was good!
Congratulations to Ryan for the win. David and Robert had a slight near incident not far from the finish when a huge tractor and trailer pulled out in front of them. Perhaps not quite a brown trouser moment, but close. Robert took the win on Vets Standard.
Thanks to David for signs (and Mark for bringing them down after the event; Katja and Valentina for timekeeping; Robert for the IT/web stuff.
