Stony Stratford 11.4 mile Time Trial 22nd June 2022
This event is to be held on the Stony 11.4 mile course. If you are new to the course, please review the course description and risk assessment.

No entry on the line – entries close 24h before the event.
The event starts at 7.00pm Wednesday 22nd June, and entries will be made online at £5.50 for members and non-members alike. Maximum number of riders 40. THERE WILL BE NO ENTRY ON THE LINE FOR THIS EVENT.
The meeting point is in the car park by the river, on Calverton Road, near the start by Milford Avenue.
In the event of roadworks or other problems, we will use the Brogborough course (F15/10).
Remember to bring both front and rear lights if you plan to ride home after the event.
The results of this time trial will be posted online shortly after the event has been completed. These data include riders’ Names, Club, Category and their Result.

Results
We had a very warm and sunny evening with only light breezes for this event (I found it rather too hot for my liking, thought perhaps I am just too curmudgeonly!). There was quite a bit of activity in the river with swimmers and boating, so parking overflowed onto the road, which I understand brought some complaints from local residents.
Anyway, congratulations to Ryan for the win. Robert took first place on veteran standard. Martyn and Martin both suffered dropped chains on the bumpy road surface.
Many thanks to Steph for placing signs, Graeme for collecting the signs and Katja for timekeeping. Graeme was also taking photographs.
