We're racing on the Astwood course using the version starting in Astwood, on Saturday 17^th September 2021.The event starts at 9am, and entry is £5.50 (for members and non-members) online only. Maximum number of riders is 40. THERE WILL BE NO ENTRY ON THE LINE FOR THIS EVENT.

The course has a route description and a risk assessment. Make sure you have familiarised yourself with the course, and remember that time trials are held on open roads - take care and be observant of other road users.

Results

I was a bit alarmed by reports on the web that traffic lights were to be placed on the Astwood circuit this weekend. However, I rode up to Astwood a little early to have a look at the supposed location of the lights, and there were none. So that was good. Also good was the fact that it was a lovely sunny morning, with the downside that it was really very cold. For a mixture of reasons, including pressure of work, work commitments, and illness, we were down to four riders on the day. The riders made a collective decision to just ride one lap.

Jamie took the win, with Adran and Robert battling it in a close ride to secons place (Adrian won 2nd!). On veteran standard, Robert took first place.
