The club committee met to discuss some changes to how we organise club time trials for the 2023 season. These are mainly targetted at increasing entries at our events, and in supporting the helpers who come out to place signs and do the time-keeping for the events.

1. We plan to devise new ~5 mile circuits based on quieter road that may be attractive to those new to time trialling, as well as being useful for more experienced riders.
   
2. We will implement separate categories for road bikes and beginners categories with prizes based on a handicapping system. 
   
3. We will make payments to sign placers and timekeepers to help defray the costs incurred in travelling to the event and driving round the course.
   
4. Entries will remain open until shortly before sthe event's start - this makes it almost entry on the line, but we avoid hassles of looking after cash. We will still use the ResultsBase system for entries and handling timekeeping.
