Results

Four riders started, and all four completed two laps of what turned out to be a rather challenging course. The general view was that this would be a good course for road bikes, as (at least on the first time on the course) it was quite difficult to get low on the tri-bar extensions. Mark Halliday turned out on a road bike (and did a fine time). Also a warm welcome to Mark Powell on his first outing at one of our Club events.

The course is pretty technical and suffered from some large puddles in places - the biggest was attended to by Dick, so it had partially drained by the time we went round a second time.

And the rain held off, at least while we were racing, though I got absolutely drenched before I got home!

Many thanks to John Reed for timekeeping and sweeping gravel from the turn at the end of the first lap and to Dick for numbers signs and the on course drainage!
