Some racing results from the weekend of 25-26/3/23.
On Saturday, Mark Halliday and James Richardson rode the Northampton and District 10 on the Brogborough course, with Mark knocking out a 23:06, while James recorded 23:37 on a road bike. I think it was a pretty tough day out there. We are using the Brogborough course for our first evening event on 5th April.
Robert Saunders travelled over to South Wales to ride the Port Talbot Wheelers 13 mile event on Sunday. There was a field of 5 teams lined up for the first event, followed by a larger field of solo riders. It's a pretty tough sporting course on a particularly scenic course. Robert was riding with former NBRC member Gerry Oram, and despite a combined age of 125 managed to come in first place. In fairness, it has to be noted that only four teams actually started!
