Many of us arriving at Astwood were expecting to be clobbered by very heavy showers, but fortunately the course remained bone dry through the event. Another worry for us was the one.network notification that our friends at Anglian Water would have traffic lights on the course. Mark had a look on the day, and all seemed clear. So, everything went without a hitch.
Congratulations to Daniel for a fine win with a healthy margin over the rest of us! Mark was fastest NBRC rider, so is the club TT champion. On veteran standard , Mark and Robert tied for first place. Commiserations to Martyn who, on completing lap 1, noticed is car window was wound down and fearing the worst stopped to check everything was OK.
