Club Run 19/1/25 -Pretty cold, but we hit the road anyway!

This week's club run was set to be a loop from Aspley Guise taking in some Bedfordshire villages and calling at the Harrold Country Park cafe. In fact only two intrepid souls, Robert and Craig, actually took part. Probably this was due to the dreich and cold weather - we started at about 1-2 degrees and it never rose much above 3. This, together with Craig being pressed for time, led us to bypass the cafe stop and slightly shorten the route to about 42 miles.

Despite the cold conditions, it was a fun ride with bursts of effort on the climbs. No mechanical issues or punctures and pretty quiet roads on the whole.
