| I'm pleased that after much diliberation we decided to go ahead and run this evenings event. Oh yes, it still rained but | ||||||||
| the torrencial downpours we all experinced a little earlier failed to re-appear. We still got soaked... but not as much! | ||||||||
| Congratulations to Tim for tonights win. Tim hadn't long returned from a recent holiday. Talk about back with avengence! | ||||||||
| Alan's ride deserves a mention. Alan managed to improve his PB on this course by 53sec's. Well done. | ||||||||
| Tonight really was a battle of the vets. wasn't it with Clive just getting best of Tim for that honour. Gilbert took the bronze | ||||||||

| A welcome visitor to tonights event was Warren Stokes who was looking remarkable fit and well. I hope we don't have | ||||||||
| to wait too much longer before we see him turning the pedals in anger again. | ||||||||
| Once Gilbert takes into account tonights hard earned league points I know it won't be long before the updated | ||||||||
| league tables will appear on the club web site. | ||||||||
