Well it may not have been quite as cold as yesterday, but the six riders (and not forgetting Dick who was out placing signs and doing the timekeeping) faced a bitterly cold morning for this event. At least the course was free of ice patches and we all got round OK. For my part I can say the cold air made beathing deeply rather difficult!

In addition to some regular rider, we had a newcomer in Richard, out for his first ever time trial. He did a good time for a first TT, especially as he dropped his chain at one point!

Congratulations to Robert for the win both on actual and veterans standard. But mostly, congratulations to all who rode is pretty beastly conditions. And many thanks to Dick Selley for signage and time-keeping.

It should be warmer for our next event - on the Brogborough course in mid-April.
