Notes: A fast course with several roundabouts. There are traffic lights on the course – if they are at red, you must stop. The start is at the top of Brogborough hill.

Please note a protective helmet and front and rear lights are mandatory. Time trials are ridden on open roads, and riders must ride accordingly. Review this statement regarding safety and insurance.

Results
I suspect several riders were caught out by the strength of the headwind we faced on the outward leg of the event! I certainly made the wrong choice of front wheel - it was obvious by the time I reached the bottom of the start hill. Anyway, the conditions didn't deter Dan, who bashed round the course to take the win with a commanding 20:57. Fastest woman was Francesca Ryde with 24:10. Fastest male vet on standard was Stu Wright and fastest woman vet Steph Cousins.
We attracted a good field of 19 entries, enough to make it impossible for Dick to time both start and finish. Robert ended up setting the last 10 riders or so and timed himself. Dick also placed the signs, and Robert handled the IT stuff. So thanks to both for ensuring the event ran smoothly.
